Is there a dress code?
Dress codes have often been used to gate-keep the attendance of folks who lack access to resources, who choose to present in expressive or culturally significant ways, or who challenge the idea of "professionalism" as a measure of worthiness. To that end, the Securing Sexuality team requests that attendees:
- Ensure that their wardrobe is opaque and covers any body part that would be covered by a two-piece bathing suit.
- Refrain from wearing clothing that contains derogatory or inflammatory language or graphics.
- Take the opportunity to fully express the creative spirit of your personality and identity, in any manner you choose, within the bounds of the first two points.
What if I cannot afford to attend?
A small number of scholarships to the conference are available.
Please reach out to the organizers to discuss your need.
